Boarding Axe

They make excellent basic carpentry tools, with a spike tip that can be sharpened for wood mortise chiselling, or dulled for mason work as required. The primary axehead can be used for custom shaping and sizing a great variety wood projects.

The handle is re-enforced with a full tang steel core, which adds great strength and a longer lifespan to the handle, and the axehead a high carbon tool steel forge – holding a reliable edge for longer and with very low risk of chipping.

This small single handed axe can be used all day long without overstraining the forearm. It’s also relatively lightweight and compact, which makes it ideal to pack into the wilderness.
