The entire Jian weapon is a full tang single forge of folded Damascus steel. The blade is then clay tempered and hand sharpened by stone, creating a highly refined and beautiful battle functional blade.

The handle and scabbard are handcrafted from hardwood and wrapped in genuine ray-skin and the fittings are high quality brass, intricately carved with fine detail.

This Chinese Jian sword has been created to full traditional Chinese character, and is applicable to ceremonial use and well as maintaining full battle functional status.
