Recreated European Sword Saber

Forged with Damascus steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a world renowned technique for smithing sword blades.

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced sword making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword’s blade. 

The end result is a blade with a hard, reliable and unmatched razor sharp cutting edge, along with excellent blade elasticity and resilience against damage. All very important aspects of any true combat sword.
