Folded Steel O-Katana

The steel is folded creating over 2,500 individual steel layers and then hand forge welded into a Kobuse structure; with a soft 45 HRC inner core and hard 65 HRC edge & outer shell. Finally the blade is clay tempered and hand sharpened using traditional Japanese methods to create a razor sharp and top-of-the-line blade.

The accessories & fittings of the sword are all quality and in traditional Japanese character; from the genuine ray-skin handle, hardwood scabbard with buffalo horn inserts, to the solid brass sword fittings.

This full tang Katana is flexible, very resilient and glides through the air with ease. It’s a real pleasure to own and use, and you can be sure of the absolute highest degree of sword steel technology built into this sword.

The weapon will be delivered sharp enough to cut bamboo stems, grass matting and slice thin paper.
