Splitting firewood, general bushcraft and survival tasks such as making spears, traps and shelter frames are far less labour intensive with a tool like this (something that a survival knife will never accomplish).

Unlike wood handle camping axe models, our survival axe handle won’t break. The handle is a full tang with glass fibre over the top for a good hand-hold, which will flex and absorb great impacts and resist even the most violent deformation forces.

To be truly prepared for wilderness survival the absolute minimum is a knife and a small hatchet. More would be nice, but any less and you’ll be truly travelling back to the stone age.
