Teepee Tent With Stove Vent

The space is perfectly adapted for single person living, although the separate inner tent portion will comfortably sleep up to two people, and even up to 4 people if the outer tent – ground area is utilised. However this bare earth area usually houses the wood stove and dry firewood pile.

The pre-installed stove vent hatch allows standard wood burner exhaust pipes to be coupled with the hole. Thus utilising a wood stove will simultaneously warm the inside, facilitate cooking, and boil water for drinking and hot showers.

Assembly is simple; a single pole maintains the outer pyramid structure, with the main body pulled and secured to the ground via sturdy tent pegs. Finally the guy-lines are pulled and pegged taut producing a shelter withstanding snow, heavy rain and powerful winds. The inner tent is strung tight to the apex of the pyramid, forming a separate internal sleeping structure, of which is completely sealed from insects and extremely waterproof from groundwater penetration.

Additional fireproof stove vents and groundsheets can be purchased, and the outer and inner tent portions are purchased separately.
