This army officer sword is an exact WW2 military sword reproduction.

Not only is it a work of historically accurate art in respect to a highly decorated Japanese officers sword, it’s also a fully battle functional & deadly war sword.

This modern Katana is handmade using folded high carbon steel, which is then clay tempered and water quenched producing a genuine wave temper line – a very difficult process due to the degree of shock exposed to the steel. Finally, the blade is hand sharpened and polished using traditional Japanese methods, creating a highly refined battle ready Katana blade.

A premium quality hardwood & cork wrapped in genuine pearl fish skin & silk thread handle is fitted to the full tang of the blade. High grade copper fittings finish of the sword and scabbard, and the sword is housed within an army green – painted iron with hardwood inner core scabbard, which includes the historically complete leather cover.
