Fitted with a modern SKD11 steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 1.5% carbon content, 11% chromium and smaller amounts of silicon, molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include superior toughness and wear-resistance, a very high hardness and good corrosion resistance. 

Completed with a tough and durable hardened resin handle, which is designed to facilitate a long service life, and a built-in belt clip allows the knife to be easily and quickly secured to a waist-belt, inner pocket or attached to MOLLE webbing, etc.
