Fitted with a modern AUS-8A steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 0.75% carbon content, 14% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, nickel, molybdenum, silicon and vanadium. Blade characteristics include excellent toughness and hardness, good resilience and excellent corrosion resistance. 

Completed with a modern G10 handle, this material provides not only a tough & durable long-life material, it also produces a first-class hand-grip surface, which is even effective when wet. A built-in belt clip allows the knife to be secured to a waist-belt, inner pocket, MOLLE webbing, etc.
