Fitted with a modern D2 steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 1.4% carbon content, 12% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, silicon, molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include good toughness, very high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. 

Completed with a modern G10 handle, this material provides not only a tough & durable long-life material, it also produces a first-class hand-grip surface, which remains effective even when wet. The knife is holstered within a tough G10 sheath, which can be easily adjusted to be worn vertically or horizontally as needed.
