Fitted with a 8Cr13MoV blade, which is a modern iron-base steel alloyed with on average 0.8% Carbon, 14% Chromium and smaller amounts of Molybdenum, Vanadium, Silicon, Manganese, Sulfur and Phosphorus. Blade characteristics include good toughness, excellent hardness, easy sharpening to a razor-sharp degree and excellent corrosion resistance.

Completed with a nylon-fiberglass handle, this material provides not only a tough & durable long-life material, it also produces a first-class hand-grip surface, which is virtually indestructible. A built-in belt clip allows the knife to be secured to a waist-belt, inner pocket, MOLLE webbing, etc.
