Fitted with a 420J2 stainless steel blade, which is a modern, highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with on average 0.36% carbon, 12% chromium and smaller amounts of silicon, manganese and nickel. Blade characteristics include fair toughness, hardness & wear resistance, high sharpen-ability to a razor-likeness, and excellent corrosion resistance. 

The handle is a tough and durable ABS plastic, which houses and firmly secures the folding blade with a classic slip-joint mechanism.
