Chinese Military Shovel

These entrenching shovel models were actually used by the Vietnamese during the war and like any military hardware of the soviet era, they were ruggedly built and reliable. 

Constructed with a single piece spring steel spade-head, a hard tool steel with renowned elasticity and resilience, ensuring the spade will not break, even when striking hard objects with force. Fixed to the spade is an aged hardwood, very comfortable to use, hard, enduring and naturally resilient against shock. 

Fairy compact at about 60cm in overall tool length, these units would make a great gold prospecting or survival shovel. Also a good compact shovel option for 4×4 recovery, camping and of course yard and garden work. 

Note: Scratches, paint loss, marks and scuffs exist on these used units. They are however still in full working order and are real collectable army shovels of the cold war era.
