Additionally, the shield’s folding or “winged” design provides some angled deflection surface area, similar to that of angled tank geometry. This angled design not only increases the chance of bullet deflection, but also partially reduces the directional component of any impacting force. 

This highly mobile ballistic shield is most commonly used for high-risk forced entry into buildings and safe viewing around structure corners. It offers excellent frontal, with some lateral protection, and moreover, a firm platform from which to fire larger weapons such as submachine-guns and auto-shotguns.

Weighing only 5.5kg, this lightweight bullet proof shield is ideal for endurance testing firefights and is also highly manoeuvrable for a changing battlefield, being narrow and compact enough for use within staircases, hallways and smooth doorway entry.
