The construct is a water resistant Nylon material shell which is rip-stop stitched. The insulation material is cotton, which provides excellent air trapping thermal insulation, so long as the material remains dry.

The quilt is easily attached to the outside of any parachute hammock and basically acts as an outer hammock sleeping bag.
