    Fitted with a modern 1095 Cro-Van steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 0.95% carbon content, along with significant chromium, vanadium, molybdenum, and smaller amounts of manganese. Blade characteristics include excellent toughness and hardness, good resilience and desirable corrosion resistance.
