The blade is made from high carbon steel, which is both tough and very hard, easily scoring common materials, including soft metals such as copper, aluminium, brass, etc. 

The handle is natural wood, combined with a premium quality brass collar.

Primarily used for woodworking, but also applicable to hobby, art, plastic and metalwork trades.
