Not a bokken built for contact sparring, but rather a wooden practice sword purposed for repetition sword training. This very long Miao Dao sword, is technically a greatsword, and is the Chinese sword equivalent of the Japanese Nodachi or Odachi sword.
This Chinese longsword is a saber, a sleek, balanced weapon, capable of equally effective cutting, slashing and thrusting attacks. Of-course however, this is a wood sword and proposed only as a training sword.
