Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a renowned technique for smithing some of the worlds finest blades. 

Additionally, the blade is formed into a unique 8-sided octahedral blade shape, which re-enforces the blade strength of this perfectly balanced double edge sword blade. A process that arguably should be undertaken for every double edge sword blade.
