Principally used as a Kendo sparring sword, however these Shinai bamboo swords make a more forgiving alternative to the hardwood bokken sword used for Kenjutsu and bokken Aikido martial arts.

Primarily constructed with bamboo which is fashioned in segmented lengths, providing a sparring sword with excellent resiliency. These swords are very forgiving on the body for trading blows and are the safest sparring swords you can use for contact.
