T10 is one of the highest carbon content modern steels used for blade-smithing and arguably the best combat knife-making steel available, certainly forming a very lethal foundational core to this Japanese Samurai knife. Blade characteristics include a hard, tough, reliable & wear-resistant cutting edge, along with desirable blade resilience and good elasticity.

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay-tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Completed with a lacquered hardwood Tanto sheath, quality brass knife-fittings, and a hardwood, wrapped with genuine stingray-skin & quality-cord handle, forming a traditional, practical and effective hand-grip.
