Fitted with a modern AUS-8 steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 0.75% carbon content, 14% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, nickel, molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include excellent toughness and hardness, good resilience and excellent corrosion resistance.
