Fitted with a 3Cr13MoV stainless steel blade; which is a modern, highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 0.4% carbon content, 13% chromium and smaller amounts of molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include fair toughness, hardness and wear resistance, very good corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening to a razor-likeness. 

Completed with a tough and durable hardened resin handle, which is designed to facilitate a highly weather resistant and long service life.
