The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades, and certainly forms a very lethal foundational core to this Japanese short sword. 

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay-tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced sword-making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword’s blade.

Completed with a hand-painted, lacquered hardwood scabbard, along with solid brass fittings – many of which are plated in real gold & silver, and a hardwood, wrapped with genuine fish-skin & quality silk-cord handle, forming a traditional, practical and effective Japanese Samurai hand-grip.

This shortsword is deadly, and is custom made, brand-new entirely to fine form. It’s highly collectable, a treasure to own and a formidable weapon to use.
