Chinese Guandao Weapon

Equipped with a folded steel blade, which is a hammer-welded mixture of 1095 & 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel, 1045 soft steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best blade-making steel available.

The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat blades, assuredly forming a very lethal foundational core to this Guan Yu weapon. 

Completed with solid brass fittings – which are prominently devoted to the powerful dragon, and fitted with a detachable tube-steel handle, forming a strong and reliable battle-ready handle, which is easily removed for portability, or to form a shorter saber sword weapon.
