100% handmade, the full tang blade is forged from high Manganese steel (otherwise known as spring steel or 1060 high carbon steel). Arguably the best sword-smithing steel available, especially when considering a combat sword blade’s elasticity and resilience, which spring steel is both designed and renowned for. In addition to the excellent resilience, the blade edge is hard and holds a reliable sharp edge for battle. 

With its wide broad sword blade and thick 1cm spine, this Chinese sword is very reliable and strikes with the mass, leverage and design to produce possibly the hardest hitting sword blows of any battle sword.
