Constructed with modern 7Cr17MOV steel, the blade is hard, sharp and encapsulates excellent resilience to edge chipping and blade deformation.  A beautiful Rosewood one handed sword handle is securely riveted to the tang, along with a matching Rosewood scabbard to sheath the Piandao sword. 

All sword and scabbard fittings are intricately decorated with the Chinese dragon, a fierce warrior sword beast symbol shrouded in mystique. 

A Chinese broad sword which is more than capable of matching any longsword duel with surprising effectiveness and prowess.
