T10 is one of the highest carbon content modern steels used for sword-smithing and arguably the best combat sword-making steel available, assuredly forming a very lethal foundational core to this Chinese saber sword. Blade characteristics include a hard, tough, reliable & wear-resistant cutting edge, along with desirable blade resilience and good elasticity.

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay-tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced sword-making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword’s blade.

Completed with an Ebony hardwood scabbard, along with premium brass fittings, and a matching Ebony hardwood handle, forming a traditional, practical and effective hand-grip.
