Fitted with a modern D2 steel blade, which is a highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 1.4% carbon content, 12% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, silicon, molybdenum and vanadium. Blade characteristics include good toughness, very high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. 

Completed with a carbon fiber handle, this modern material contributes to the knife’s overall light-weight and it’s long life span, being a corrosion resistant material. A built-in belt clip allows the knife to be secured to a waist-belt, inner pocket, MOLLE webbing, etc.
