High manganese steel, or spring steel, encapsulates both a high percentage of carbon & manganese, which both promote a hard, reliable cutting edge, along with the most desirable blade elasticity & resilience out of any other blade-making steel. The flute’s body (scabbard & handle), is constructed with a high grade aviation aluminum, which is both lightweight and strong. The knife, when housed within its flute-scabbard, looks like a small, quality flute instrument and actually does play, making a testable alibi.

There are two blade tip options to select from (pointed or angled).
