Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades. 

Completed with a hardwood, wrapped with leather scabbard, quality stainless steel fittings, and a hardwood, wrapped with quality cord handle, this Damascus steel longsword is certainly practical, and entirely assembled in prime quality.
