The blades are made from #45 medium-carbon steel, with the tips brazed in 9-9.5 Mohs tungsten-carbide, which ranks just below diamond’s hardness of 10 Mohs, making for an extremely durable, precision metal marking tool. 

Interchange quickly and easily any of the seven included blade sizes within the handle recess.
