Chinese Scimitar Sword

Equipped with a folded steel blade, which is a hammer-welded mixture of 1095 & 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel, 1045 soft steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available.

The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades, and certainly forms a very lethal foundational core to this genuine Longquan sword. 

Completed with an aged-Sandalwood scabbard, premium copper fittings – many of which are hand carved creations, and finally a practical Sandalwood, bound with quality-cord handle, this Chinese curved sword is finished in full traditional fashion.
