Fitted with a 420 stainless steel blade; which is a modern, highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 0.4% carbon content, 13% chromium and smaller amounts of manganese, silicon, phosphorus and sulfur. Blade characteristics include fair toughness, hardness and wear resistance, very good corrosion resistance, and easy sharpening to a razor-likeness. 

Completed with a rosewood handle, forming not only an effective hand-grip, but also a beautiful, natural aesthetic. And a knife pouch is included, which is generally worn on a waist-best.
