Both the handle and scabbard are composed of a dark Ebony hardwood, along with all sword-fittings except the brass blade-collar, plated with real silver – all of which are intricately hand-carved with the theme of the fish-dragon. A powerful, elusive water god-beast of Chinese mythology.
