T10 is one of the highest carbon content modern steels used for sword-smithing and arguably the best combat sword-making steel available, certainly forming a very lethal foundational core to this Japanese Chokuto Katana. Blade characteristics include a hard, tough, reliable & wear-resistant cutting edge, along with desirable blade resilience and good elasticity.

The matching hardwood scabbard & handle material close firmly together, forming a staff sword stick. The hardwood handle acts as a simple, sturdy and maintenance free handle grip, which is not only practical to use, but also presents in a clean, traditional form.
