Blunt Iaido Sword

Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing Japanese Katana blades.

Finally, after the forging and quenching process, the blade is optionally sharpened and polished, producing a highly refined finished blade. 

The end result is a blade with a hard and reliable edge, along with excellent blade elasticity and resilience against damage. Both very important aspects of any true Katana and battle ready combat sword. 

The glossy blue lacquered, hardwood scabbard and quality sword fittings, complement the overall black Katana color scheme nicely. And the hardwood, wrapped with real leather & quality polyester cord form a traditional sword aesthetic and a very effective Japanese Samurai handle grip.
