Gomai Folded Sword

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay-tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. The lacquered hardwood scabbard, along with the intricately decorative sword-fittings, complement this Uchigatana sword appropriately. And the hardwood, wrapped with genuine stingray-skin & quality cord form a traditional and effective Japanese Samurai hand-grip.
