Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing Japanese Katana blades.

Finally, after the forging and quenching process, the blade is sharpened to a high degree and polished, producing a highly refined finished blade. 

The end result is a blade with a hard, reliable and unmatched razor sharp cutting edge, along with excellent blade elasticity and resilience against damage. Both very important aspects of any true Katana and battle ready combat sword. 

Assembled with a lacquered print, hardwood scabbard, solid brass quality sword fittings and a hardwood wrapped with real stingray-skin & quality cord handle, this folded Katana is finished with traditional materials and in full Japanese character.
