Master Liuyedao Sword

Equipped with a folded steel blade, which is a hammer-welded mixture of 1095 & 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel, 1045 soft steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available.

The process and technique is renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades, and certainly forms a very lethal foundational core to this sabre sword. 

Sword and scabbard fittings are decorated with fine, hand-carved brass artworks. The most notable of these artworks is the brass dragon within the sword’s hand-guard, which interactively moves and makes sound whilst wielding the Dao weapon – an outstanding feature, unique only to this Longquan sword saber.
