Red Blade Katana

Equipped with a folded steel blade, which is a hammer-welded mixture of 1095 & 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel, 1045 soft steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available.

The partially electro-plated blade allows the edge to be sharpened, without damaging the red electro-plated surface, which is an important feature of this sword’s very unique blade pattern. 

Completed with a lacquered hardwood scabbard, along with battle functional brass fittings, and a hardwood, wrapped with genuine stingray-skin & quality cord handle, forming a practical and effective Japanese Samurai hand-grip.

This Uchigatana sword is deadly, and is executed entirely in fine form. It’s highly collectable, a pleasure to own and a formidable war sword to use.
