Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating many hundreds of steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades. 

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade’s edge, while leaving the blade’s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced sword-making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword’s blade. 

Handle and scabbard are constructs of an exotic Brazilian, Ebony hardwood, with the handle hand-wound using quality cord. Sword and scabbard fittings are pure brass – gilded in real gold gilt – all hand-carved, intricate artworks, powerfully devoted to the Chinese dragon.
