Fitted with a 5Cr13MoV blade, which is a modern iron-base steel alloyed with on average 0.5% Carbon, 13% Chromium and smaller amounts of Molybdenum, Vanadium and Manganese. Blade characteristics include excellent toughness and resilience, good hardness, easy sharpening to a razor-sharp degree and excellent corrosion resistance.

The blade is double-edged, however only one side of the blade is sharp for legal shipping purposes, which can be sharpened easily with a grinder, or hand-file and finishing stone.

The built-in pommel glass breaker located on the rear of the knife handle can be used both for emergency building & vehicle escape purposes, or as a secondary blunt force trauma weapon.
