WW2 Samurai Sword

$509.99

A recreated WW2 Samurai sword.

Reproduced with highly-refined, modern materials to create this relatively rare design of non-commissioned officer, WW2 Japanese sword with Tachi mounts.

The Japanese Tachi sword, the early predecessor to the Uchigatana or “striking Katana”, was by far the most popular sword between the years 900 and 1596. Distinguished by its often highly curved longsword blade, these Japanese long swords were designed more as a sabre sword, often wielded from horseback, they undisputedly produced superior cutting and slashing blows, compared to the more modern Katana.
