Deer Knife With Gut Hook

The gut hook is designed to quickly open the abdominal cavity like a zipper without puncturing internal organs, and the skinning knife blade is powerful, yet compact, and razor sharp for separating the hide from meat.

Fitted with a 5Cr15MoV blade, which is a modern iron-base steel alloyed with on average 0.5% Carbon, 15% Chromium and smaller amounts of Molybdenum, Vanadium, Silicon and Manganese. Blade characteristics include good toughness and excellent hardness, easy sharpening to a razor-sharp degree and excellent corrosion resistance.

Completed with a classic, stacked compressed-leather disk handle, which forms a highly effective segmented hand-grip. And included with a small pu-leather sheath, which holsters the knife securely to a waist-belt. 

The best knife for field dressing deer, but also effective for hog, goat and other similar sized game species.
