It’s a high carbon steel, well known for its almost perfect balance of good blade strength, hardness, toughness, edge-holding capacity, as well as renowned blade elasticity and excellent resilience, with very similar characteristics to a 1060 carbon steel blade. High Manganese steel is without a doubt, one of the most versatile steels available, and arguably the best blade-making steel for a modern sword.
Securely riveted to the tang are two thick steel plates, which are then bound with synthetic leather, forming a very practical hand-grip. This simplistic handle is reliable and effective, as is the included synthetic leather scabbard which is very practical for transporting this sharp sword.
