Wootz steel is one of the highest carbon content modern steels used for sword-smithing, typically containing around 1.7% carbon and is classified as an ultra-high carbon steel. Arguably the best blade making steel available, Wootz steel assuredly forms a very lethal foundational core to this pig sticking knife. Blade attributes include an extremely tough & hard, durable, razor sharp cutting edge, along with excellent blade elasticity and renowned resilience. 

Completed with a hard and very dense Ironwood handle, solid brass bolster, and included with a premium quality leather sheath, which is worn conveniently on the hip.
