Fitted with a VG10 stainless steel blade, which is a modern, highly refined, iron base-steel alloyed with a high on average 1.0% carbon content, 15% chromium, small amounts of cobalt, molybdenum, vanadium and trace amounts of manganese and silicon. Blade characteristics include excellent toughness and hardness, easy sharpening to a razor-sharp degree and excellent corrosion resistance.
