1045 Carbon Steel Katana

1045 carbon steel, a stainless composite commonly used for training sword construction, is a well rounded, medium tensile steel with good impact properties, strength and excellent toughness. The primary attributes of this unique steel are focused upon the blade’s high sharpenability and toughness, of which 1045 is known for, being an important characteristic for swords withstanding impact without fracturing.
