Forged with folded steel, which is a mixture of 1045 soft steel, 1060 high carbon steel, manganese spring steel and many more smaller portions of other steels. This mixture is then folded multiple times to remove impurities, creating over 1,200 individual steel layers, finally producing arguably the best sword-making steel available, a technique renowned for smithing the finest combat sword blades. 

Completed with an exotic, Ebony hardwood scabbard, premium brass fittings – many of which are illustrated with the Chinese dragon, and finally a practical Ebony hardwood + quality-cord handle, this sword Jian is finished in full traditional fashion and with mystique.
